These seat are bolts from the bottom. I believe it will be 15mm. Here are diagrams below to show you how to remove the seat.

Check out the diagrams (below). Please let us know if you need anything else to get the problem fixed.

Well...Assuming I wanted to, I would first weigh out replacement and see what it would cost to get a used one.

Conversley, pulling the seat out and trying to improve it would be tough to accomplish.

There is no R and R procedure I can provide. This is one of those things that come down to mechanical prowess. They are not normally separted, but the whole seat is put in. I doubt you can buy it separetly.
I have never run into the need to separate them and don't know for sure they are meant to be disassembled.
I would expect they are not.

Regardless, You'll need to remove the bolts that hold down the seat track. Once off pull the whole unit out and flip it over. The track then needs to be removed from the bottom of the seat. At this point you should be able see what retains the seat and back rest. You may be able to see this without removing the seat however. I don't have one in front of me, but I would be willing to try to help if you want to post some pictures
of the seat. I would think at the point of where they hinge may help.
