2005 Chrysler Town and Country difficulty starting after OD

Engine Performance problem
2005 Chrysler Town and Country 6 cyl Front Wheel Drive Automatic 103XXX miles

Please help. I have a 2005 Chrysler T & C with 103,000 miles that has decided it will no longer be a reliable means of transport. A couple of weeks ago, these behaviors started occurring: cruise control quit working entirely, would not even turn on (may not be related, don't know), ODC light comes on and stays on (thought I had purchased bad gas and problem would work itself out with some premium unleaded), sputter at about 29, 44, and 70 mph (when it was supposed to be upshifting). I took it to my mechanic, whom I trust and he took it down the road to see what the symptoms were and he could barely get it back to the shop. Now it won't even start, turns over, but doesn't start. He checked the codes and replaced the fuel pump, crank sensor and cam sensor. Still not working, any ideas? Thanks, for your time.

The first thing we need to do to narrow it down is to determine what is missing. Spark, fuel pressure, or injector pulse, OR any combination of the 3. Please advise.

According to my mechanic, spark seems to be good as well as fuel pressure, so hmmmm, maybe injectors?
I think I am going to have to take it to the Dodge house to get it fixed. Would you say that it is not the computer? I just want to make sure I am not buying something that I don't need.

It could be injector pulse. You can check this with a regular test light accross the terminals of any injector connector while you crank the engine. The test light should blink. If you have injector pulse, how old are the spark plugs?
It may be a problem with the computer, but that would be rare. Many times computers are changed and when that doesn't fix it, then people look further and find the problem. Let me know what you find out.

I took it to another mechanic here in town and he ran some diagnostic tests and in the course of these he happened to notice that the catalytic converter was a cherry red color. it was completly stopped up. He replaced that and also discovered from the codes he was getting that the oxygen sensors were fried becuase of the CAT. Those were replaced. Now he says fuel is just pouring in and he isn't quite sure what's up. I guess I better take it the Dodge place to see what they can figure out.

I did have it towed to the nearest dealer to have it worked on. He called and said that it may be the fly wheel or someother expensive something ..........the crankshaft I think. I was too busy passing out to hear the last option. Lookin' at $400-500 to tear it down to see what it is. Does that sound like it could be right?
