I have mil cyl # 1 misfire and NVLD canister vent valve soleniod circuit indicating high voltage. How do I go about correcting the problems, and can either of the malf. cause problems across systems wich lead to the service engine light to illuminate?

the egr valve should be replaced that will most likely stop the misfire and if it doesn't then I would change the spark plugs and wires
