My wife drives a 2004 Chrysler Town and Country with 66,000 miles on it. We are the original owners of the vehicle.

She said when she drives the van, the steering column seems to make some weird humming noise. Sort of a grinding noise when you turn. This progressively gets worse after driving the car after 10 minutes or so. I have checked the power steering and it's full.
I know there was recall notice about the steering: But not sure if this is the cause or not.
POWER STEERING FLUID LEAKAGE IN THE PRESENCE OF AN IGNITION SOURCE CAN RESULT IN AN UNDER HOOD FIRE.
Corrective Action
DEALERS WILL REPLACE THE UPPER POWER STEERING COOLER HOSE????

On an earlier model year the hose was the problem
so I would make an appointment with your local dealer and let them take care of the recall
and then see what happen
