Just bought a 2002 Town and Country and the slider doors don't lock/unlock reliably when using the keyless or the front door switch (sometimes they do and sometimes they don't).

Took the trim off one and poked around and nothing appears to be dirty, corroded or bound up.

Found one reference online to a redesign of those actuators, something about they lacking the necessary oomph. Pretty much exactly what I'm facing. Anyone know more about which years had a problem? A part number for the redesigned actuator? Any more details?

I have a 2003 with the same problem, I had mine apart the actuator monts on the door latch you can take it out by taking the three screws out that hold the latch they are on the end of the door, new actuator was $105, I am not sure if 02 and 03 are the same.
