2001 Chrysler Town and Country Front a/c does not bloe

First thing I need to know is do you have temp control or manual A/C? if there is power at the connector to the fan, run a fuse protected wire to the motor from the (+) side of the battery, ground the other one, does the fan run?

It does have a temp controlled A/C.
I unplugged the harness and grounded one side and ran battery voltage to the other and nothing happened. There was a noise like it eanted to but nothing.

I also need to know what the secret is to getting the blower cover off. I got the front screws out but can not get to the back ones, the insulation is in the way and will not come off without it ripping apart.

Any ideas?

Go to the other side of the firewall and look for screws... If the blower does not blow with a direct battery feed, replace blower motor.

It is impossible to get the back screw out without pulling the whole underdash unit out. The back screw points up.

There are two different systems on yours, so I need the production date, early models are hard, late model production ones dont require as much work, the date is on the white door jamb sticker on drivers door, or door jamb. This is a complex and challenging part to replace, not for beginners! Instrument panel, heater plenum, A/c discharging are among the items that need to be removed in the early production vans!
