The van runs well generally but at cruising speed on highways 50 mph intermittantly it skipa a beat .you hear a slight frump sound and if you are paying attention feel a slight jerk for a split second.

If the light hasn't come on, there shouldn't be anything wrong with the electrical / ignition system. I would think it is fuel related. Have you ever replaced the fuel pump?
