2000 Chrysler Town and Country rear brake cylinder

I replaced the rear wheel brake cylinder it worked just fine, then a scraping noise could be heard when coasting or during gradual slow down. When braking suddenly it would not make the noise then the cylinder failed altogether replaced again this time cylinder failed right away. I bleed the brake lines according to specifications. Any suggestions where I went wrong, or maybe another problem that I can't think of. Thank You,

If rear shoes out of adjustment or were wrongly installed will cause a wheel cylinder failure
