Transmission problem
1998 Chrysler Town and Country 6 cyl Automatic 87000 miles

My 1998 T&C was converted to a wheelchair accessible van (electric side entry ramp, etc. etc.). Recently I had trouble putting it in parking and took it to my neighborhood garage where they replaed the shifting cable; it works but still have some play on it.
I took it to a car shop where they diagnosed via a computer "P1788 Mod 41" and "P0700 Mod 40". what does this mean? Should I get rid of the van?
