1997 Chrysler Town and Country 6 cyl Two Wheel Drive Automatic

The serpentine belt on my van fell off and i cannot get the tentioner to move enough to get it back on

Are you sure it is routed properly and sitting in the fully in the groves of the pulleys? If you need the routing info, go to the belt routing diagrams site on this page.
