Hello,

It sounds like the lock rod from the door tumbler has fallen off. Then best way to fix this problem is to remove both front seats so you can get the door panel off. Then look inside the door to check the lock rod.

Here is a guide to help you get the door panel off.

Check out the diagrams (Below)

Please let us know if you need anything else to get the problem fixed.

Cheers, Ken

drivers door won't open when cold. The door is keyless entry therefore not able to put any antifreeze into lock. Door will only open when temperture rises. I have tried putting wd40 onto the parts of the lock that i can see without removing door panel.
Please advise

when it warms up, remove the panel and clean out all the old lubricant and add new wd40 or some other lube product

When we attempt to open the door from the inside, it simply won't open. We need to roll down the window and reach outside and open the door using the outside handle.

Any thoughts?

Remove the door panel and make sure the door lock linkage is actually attached to inside door handle. A lot of time, the plastic retaining clip breaks off of the linkage from the handle.
