2004 Chrysler Sebring Oil Pressure

Last week the oil lite would lite up when ever I was stopped at a red lite.
I'm sure this indicates low oil pressure at low rpm. But
? How dangerous is it and what does it take to fix it ?

Check the oil pressure with a mechanical gauge,if normal replace the oil pressure switch. If abnormal could mean oil pump and engine bearing.
