2004 Chrysler Sebring oil light comes on suddenly, gas peda

i took it to the dealer in may to have the ac charged for the first time...had air flow, but was intermitant for cold air.
Dealer claimed the compressor was bad, couldn't be charged...decided...hell, its a convertible..giving it to my daughter to use in Massachusettes for college, and no ac needed. Driiving home from the dealer, battery light comes on...drove directly to another garage where i had the majority of service done...diagnosed and replaced the alternator. car then would have a melt-down of a big bang,all dash lights coming on, car would restart, all while driving ..thought fauty alernator, replaced...ok for a month. Now, oil light comes on, gas dies, and my daughter had to be towed twice! Any ideas?

Does the engine only die when the oil light comes on?

after the oil light comes on, there is no more pressure on the gas pedal, no more fuel delivery...she pulls over, then shuts the car off immediately...
the engine doesn't die, but no gas pedal pressure.ie fuel delivery??

the car will not turn over and restart. The oil pressure sensor was replaced after the first incident. It was driven about 15 miles with no isssues, shut off, rested about 30 minutes, drove another 12-13 miles and it happened again.

In desperate need your help..i am in Pennsylvania...don't know anyone in Massachusettes..mechanic?/ Is it possible all of these issues are related to the PCM or the PCM relay?? If so, would it be worth fixing??

It's worth fixing and yes they could all be related. I too am in PA. I'm in western PA and have family in eastern PA. Maybe I can help or get you to the right place.

Really frustrated!! Repair shop in New York (1/2 hr from my daughter in Mass.) says the car needs a fuell pump? Confused....wouldn't the car not run at all if it needed a fuel pump?? The mechanic said it took over an hour running the car in the shop for the fuel pump to shut down...and still said it needed a pump??? With the previous alternator issue...I'm thinking that the PCM is the issue??/ It sounds electrical to me?? What do you think? Would it hurt to have a Chrysler dealer reprogram the PCM???
PLEASE HELP!!!

So, initially, the car wouldnt restart after this issue happened...but it does restart after 1/2 hr to an hour...is the computer rebooting...does something heat up causing the computer to shut it down initially?? This car was amazingly reliable....and its so frustrating...to be that far away...and feel like i'm getting the run around... THANKS FOR YOUR HELP!!!

The car is in Red Hook, New York...afraid to have my daughter drive too far and break down again...was towed twice in 2 days. Do you know a Chrysler dealer near there...or have any connections?? This would be so much easier if whe broke down in PA!

Sorry, that is further north than I know. As far as the fuel pump, it could be running but weak. As far as the PCM, it won't reset itself unless you disconnect the battery or use a scanner to reset it.
