My transmission pan was leaking...so my friend attempted to fix the problem. Upon fixing it he found that 8 of the 16 holes were stripped were the pan is held in place so he was not able to properly fix the problem. The previous owner had the pan originally glued and we think that it was damaged due to an accident that had happened prior to me owning it. The car was totalled at one point and was fixed prior to me buying it. Is there a way to have the holes recapped without costing a lot? Or should we attempt to glue it back on? Or am I screwed?
