4 cyl Two Wheel Drive Automatic

I have a 2002 Chrysler Sebring LXI Sedan. The air has not been blowing very cool for a while now, but I assumed that it just didn't feel as cool because it has been so hot. After a while, it got worse, and you couldn't feel the air at all unless the fan was on high. Today as I was driving I noticed what seemed to be small pieces of trash blowing out the air vents. The more I drove, the more it started to come out. It started to blow out in chunks although most of the larger pieces got stuck in the vent. When I look at it in the vent closely, I can see that it looks like a piece of mesh or netting, but unlike mesh or netting, it's hard & plastic. Please help!.

Hi cgranderson,

Instead of a filter this model does have mesh. So it's not affecting the blower air, it's mesh being blown out.

I would recharge the system for the temperature issue here is a guide to help you.

Please let us know if you need anything else to get the problem fixed.

Cheers
