2001 Chrysler Sebring Clunking-rattling noise in front susp

If I drive the car over a washboard type road surface there is a metalic clunking-rattling noise coming from the front suspension.

It can be one these few things. Check:

1. Sway bar links.
2. Upper and lower ball joints.
3. Of course, your strut assembly
4. (in my personal vehicle) driver side engine mount
