I have a 1997 Chrysler Sebring Lxi. This car has approx. 80,000 miles on it, and is a 2.5 24v v6 auto transmission. After I back out my dirveway and put it into gear (D)it wants to slip and not go any place. If i give it a little bit of gas it kicks back into to gear and drives. Sometimes it slips when im taking off or when its shifting into second gear. And recently a woman pulled out in front of me and I had to slam on the brakes and come to a complete stop, after I did so the car wouldnt go anywere. But gave it some gas and it took off. I dont have any leaks, fluid level is correct, and it rarely does this but can tell that the slipping seems to be getting worse. I bought some Lucas transmission slip but havent decided to put that in there to see if it would work. I have read other forums and they say that it could be a sensor, or a soileniod...Any suggetions???[img:1fd89df7c2]http://www.2carpros.com/forum/automotive_pictures/94649_08_22_07_1340_1.jpg[/img:1fd89df7c2]

Most of the time when its a bad sensor the tranny is in LIMP mode, it doesn't shift out of 2nd gear.
