Doing the same thing myself right now...Pull the the gauge panel....Pull the card board protector off the back..and there is an area that looks like it takes alot of heat...There's a diode right in that area with 2 resistors that looks like they get real hot...look on the solder joint itself..and see if it has a ring crack around it....That feeds voltage to the odometer for milage....Doing the repair now...I'll let you know how it goes.I know sucks huh..lol....Take care..Jeff
