1995 Chrysler Sebring please help!!!

4 times now i have been driving my car and my mouth and face will start to tingle,then i will start to smell asid/fumes realy strong then within a min. or so i will start to passout.. yes they have been others in my car im not sick or crazy. i have almost hit a bridge, a ditch and this morning it happened when i was gouing to the buss stop with my kids in this death machine. my husband said it was the battery rubbing the underside of the hood and put a teeshirt over the battery, but it happened again this morning. PLEASE HELP!!! IM AFRAID OF MY OWN CAR.

There could be a number of things causing this concern. I strongly sugguest not driving the vehicle until the problem is resolved. If it is an electrical smell this could result in a fire if not fixed. Also if its an exhaust leak the carbon monoxide can cause long term effects on you and your families health
