My car somtimes runs rough.
It shakes and stalls out at stops, and in traffic.
When I try to accelerate it bogs down and does not go any faster.

Has the check engine light come on?

Yes it came on once and I took it back to the dealer.
They reset it but said they could find nothing wrong.
I just got my car back after 2 weeks from the same dealer and they said they still could find nothing wrong, even though they know how it is acting.
The service manager experienced the problems.
They said they did all kinds of tests on it like vacuum leaks, compression, etc.

Have they checked the catylatic converter, fuel pressure, or didn't they tell you any of the specifics?

Yes they checked the fuel pressure and they said it was OK.
I talked to the service manager at length today and he said they did not check the cat. conv. because of the way the car was acting.
They did put it on the scanner when they test drove it and did not get any HARD CODES.
He did not think it was the ignition coil either.
He thinks it is a fuel problem, and he said to bring it back when the tank is low and they would take a sample.

If the fuel presure is good, I wonder why he needs a sample? Unless he thinks you have something else in the tank with the gas. I'm not sure on that one.
