Hello...My car has been acting up in the past few months. The car jerks and kinda putters after it has been driven for a while. At first the car runs fine and then after about 30 or more minutes of constant driving it starts to jerk when you try to accelerate too fast. I'm not sure what the exact RPMs its at when it does this but its a little between the 2 and the 2 1/2 on my gauge. When you're driving and you go anywhere near that mark it jerks and sometimes dies out even when you come to a stop. The sparkplugs and a few of the wires have been replaced. I have used the fuel injector cleaner, the fuel pump was relaced last spring as well as the sending unit. I hope someone can help! I dont really have the money for a garage but if I have to I will take it but if I can have this fixed on my own I would rather do so. Thanks

Yes the check engine light stays on all the time but when the car starts acting up it will occassionally blink...I am sure this is probably not good when it blinks but again I dont really have the money to take the car to a garage but if I NEED to I will. Thanks

The light is telling you that the computer knows where the problem is coming from. What I suggest is this. Take the vehicle to a nationally recognized parts store and have them scan the computer for codes. Most will do it for free, so there is no money out of pocket. Once you do that, let me know what codes they find.
