The air conditioner was running. Although this morning it was not running. The noise is coming from the engine compartment back by the firewall

Thanks

It maybe the heater core has the coolant been changed lately or work done on cooling system?
Also has gurgle always been there?

The gurgle noise started about 2 months ago, but it was only happening once in awhile. This past week it's happening every day and lasts up to 5-8 minutes after I turn the engine off. Yesterday the radiator was flushed and the coolant replaced.

Thanks

The sound did not change but the length of time did. It lasted only about 45 seconds this AM. It does it with the AC on or off. Yes I've heard it with the hood open, and it sounds like it's coming from the middle of the engine by the firewall

Try this right below the radiator cap there is a bleeder valve, small nipple. Remove radiator cap engine cool. open bleeder start and let warm up add 50/50 mix as needed run unril only coolant comes out no air. Also get a new cap to make sure system is properly pressurized.
