When I start the car early in the cold morning my car makes a boging and grumbling sound. It was only a problem when the car was cold and my daily commute is less than three miles so it didn't really bother me. Today the check engine light came on so I began and investigation. The only suspect in this issue is the power steering level. My question is could low power steering fluid level be the cause of a strange cold noise and an illuminated check engine light?
