My wife has a 02 PT Cruiser, 2.4 Auto trans Limited with 36000 miles. The problem is the 10 amp fuse that controls the back-up lights, heated seats and rear winder defogger keeps blowing. I’ve had it back the dealer several time with no luck. They put in a new fuse and it works, sometimes for one day, sometimes for a week and sometimes for a month. But it doesn’t blow as soon as it is put in. I’ve tried a new fuse and tried each of the controls in that circuit to see if it would blow. Nothing happens. Any ideas?

I would try to unplug the rear window defogger and see how long the fuse lasts. If it blows again, try unplugging the heated seat connectors. It is a game of narrowing down. Once you get it narrowed down a bit we can go further.
