when the engine runs for half hour or about 15 miles the engine sputters and dies. the cooler the weather the longer the car runs. The pcm has been replaced and reprogramed by a professional. there are no trouble codes on the pcm. I checked fuel pressure and it was at specs even when the engine died. I installed new spark plugs with the correct gap. I ran the car untill it died and checked for spark. I put a spark plug in the 1 plug wire and when i cranked the engine no spark. when it cools off it runs. did coil check cold and was at specs .when hot not even close. unplugged crank senser and it did set an error code. I think the coil is bad what do you think?

I replaced the coil pack on the cruiser and when i ran it the car quit after 45 minutes. I checked all the sensors for shorts and found none. there were no error codes for brakes or air bags. and no trouble codes on the pcm. When the car died i checked it before it cooled off and still had no spark. I checked the wiring to the pcm and found no freyed or broken wires. I found another site that gave me ohm reading for the crank sensor. I bought a new crank sensor and compared it with the old one and it was 150 ohms different cold. I put in the new sensor and the car hasn't died since. I took it on a 120 mile trip and it worked fine. There's no way i would made that trip before without it quiting. Pat murray Stmaries Idaho.
