I have a 2001 PT Cruiser. When I am driving down or the road, or even sitting in Park in my driveway the cruise control random comes on and it makes my car jerk/shake really bad. The cruise control actually dont come on, I mean it doesn't stay on, but the light comes on and my speedometer shakes up and down too. And when I have my cruise control on, it shakes/jerks and it shuts off. I took it to a Dodge dealership and they said the passenger side air bag is out and its messing with the head module on the steering wheel. That doesnt make sense. How can I fix this?
