There is no easiest way but the right way to do it-see procedures below: REMOVAL Disconnect battery negative cable. Remove the engine cover. Remove the generator drive belt. Positive Battery Cable And Field Connector

Remove the B+ terminal nut and wire. Disconnect the generator field circuit wiring connector. Push the RED locking tab to release. Upper Mounting Bracket

Remove the upper mounting bracket. Generator

Remove the 2 lower mounting bolts. Remove generator. INSTALLATION Install generator. Generator

Install the 2 lower mounting bolts. Upper Mounting Bracket

Install the upper mounting bracket. Tighten the 2 lower bolts first, tighten bolts to 54.2 N.m (40 ft. lbs.) then tighten the 2 upper bolts, tighten bolts to 28.2 N.m (20.8 ft. lbs.) . Positive Battery Cable And Field Connector

Connect the generator field circuit wiring connector. Push the RED locking tab to lock connector. Install the B+ terminal nut and wire making sure the terminal is properly oriented with the anti-rotation tab. Tighten nut to 12.5 N.m (110 in. lbs.) . Install the generator drive belt.
