overheated

My 99 jeep cherkee overheated now it won't start. I've replaced the thermostate and checked to see if there was any coolant in the oil and there was none. It will turn over but not fire.

Hey rob,
Thats not a good sign. Do your basic checks for spark and fuel. If all is ok then IMMEDIATLY do some cylinder compression testing as you may have a head gasket failure. Let us know!
