New rear sway bar and alignment?

being an alingment specialist for many years i can tell you that getting a wheel alignment is never a waste of money or time. as far as NEEDING one after adding a rear sway bar,i wouldn't say it is mandatory,though it depends on what parts of your rear suspension you had disconnected and reconnected.if you've changed the ride height front or rear during your installation or moved the position of the rear struts or trailing arms then i would reccomend it.if you do get one, make sure it a total 4wheel alignment not just a front wheel or a thrust angle alignment.i hope i've helped a bit.

I did have to replace the rear lower control arms with
factory ones designed to accept the sway bar. The new ones are the same size & length as the old but with a larger hole on each end to accept the end link and and a bracket with bolt hole beneath for tightening the nut to the bottom end link. The stock KYB-G2 shocks and springs were not changed. Down the road I plan on replacing them with the KYB-AGX and a Eibach Pro kit. The camber can't be changed without installing an aftermarket kit. My main concern
was the toe in. The car had great handling before, but is even better now. I had a 4 wheel alignment last September and nothing has changed but this add
on. I will keep an eye on the rear tires ... so far no wear. Thanks again.
