[i:b925e41904]My 1998 Chrysler T&C with 134,000 miles will start when I turn the key but only runs for a few seconds then automatically shuts down. After a few turns of the key the motor won't even make a sound. I've had battery, starter & power control module replaced. I still have the same problem. Sometimes it will start like theres nothing wrong. Any suggestions? [/i:b925e41904]

Also I have noticed when the engine automatically shuts down none of the instrument gauges comes on. Could this be related to the alarm systems?Trying to fix this is getting very expensive. All help will be extremely appreciated.

Hey Jack- just found this site, sorry we missed each other by more than a year!! BUT- for anyone else having this aggrevating and random problem- I have the same problem with my Chrysler Cirrus and it WAS the antitheft device. The solution I found to work can be found in my response to this post. Seems Chrysler should put out a notice or something since so many of us are having these kinds of problems...
