I replaced my water pump on my Chrysler LHS 3.5 engine. I marked the timing belt and only took belt off at tensioner and top left cam pulley. When I was ready to re-assemble the timing belt slipped off the other pulley and turned out of place. I used the belt hooked to the crankshaft and turned the right cam one full rotation clockwise and realigned both sets of cam dots. I then put the belt back on and after it was all together, I tried to start it and it turned over but did not start. I hope I did not ruin the engine. Did it not start because of the extra rotation on the one cam or because of not putting the crankshaft at TDC before putting the belt back on??
