1976 Other Chrysler Models how to change from lean burn

I'am currently deployed in Iraq I will be home next summer I have a 1976 Chrysler Newport Cutom it has a 400ci with lean burn, is there any thing I can do to change it over single pickup and get away from lean burn all together, this will the frist thing I would like to do when I get back home . the car will only run until it warms up then it will shut off please help me if you can I love the car I got the car form my dad who has since passed on I wish for nothing more then to fix the car so that it runs.
