my car has one or two bent valves, due to a timing belt malfunction. it was pretty worn and was begining to melt. (i was unaware that it needed to be replaced every 60000 miles)
i cannot afford to have it fixed and i've been considering doing it myself. my question to you is
should i attempt this? i have almost no expirence, but i do have someone to help me and my neighbor has quite a bit of expirence, mainly with dodge, ford ect., and is willing to give me a hand whenever possible. i am desperate to get this done and any advice would be greatly appreciated.
thank you

You will not be able to do this job on your own, removal and re fit the head yes, but the valves are a specialist job, requiring re machining valve seats, possibly replacing valve guides, and other machining jobs as well.
