1995 Chrysler New Yorker 6 cyl Automatic 116000 miles

my car idles too fast it will go without giving it gas in park it idles at 2 rpm and in gear it idles at 1 half rpms please help

Hi:
It sounds like a sensor problem or a vacuum leak. Stop at a nationally recognized parts store and have the computer scanned for trouble codes. Let me know what you find.
