Sometimes in the morning when first starting the car we get a gas smell from the air and heating ducts and last for about 10 to 15 minutes then the smell goes away for the rest of the day. I have had it looked at several times and nothing can be found. It will happen for a few days then might not happen for a week or so.

I park in the garage. There are no cans of gas around. The EVAP Canister has no gas in it.

I cleaned the engine compartment. The next day I started it and got the smell. I checked all injecters and looked for any leaks. Nothing that I can see.

Is it possible the smell is antifreeze? or raw gas? or exhaust?

It smells like gas fumes. It's not coolant or exhaust and it comes out the air conditioning ducts.
