first off it's 173000 KM
My car jolts when i accelerate after braking, and while turning left. It seems to hesitate, then jolt like it could be starved of gas. We have been doing brake work, replaced both front rotors and pads, and so far just the passenger side caliper. Could this be because of a seizing caliper on the driver's side. The old rotor and pads had uneven wear, and we will be replacing the caliper within a few days. Or could this be an engine, or tranny problem? As far as I know, my boyfriend changed the fuel filter not long ago,(within 8 months) so i don't think that could be it. I am hoping that it is just the caliper and not the transmission. The only time it jolts is upon acceleration after braking (especially if we brake hard) and while turning left (could do on right turns just right turns are tighter and sometimes require less braking while turning, more light braking before the turn). Thank you, any answers would be greatly appreciated.
