2000 Chrysler Neon Timing Belt

I went to start my 2000 neon and it made a popping noise and never started. after a couplr seconds of cranking i realized the timing belt was broke. Im wondering if i could have bent valves. I habe no compression in any of the cylinders

You may have bent a valve, but have you replaced the timing belt yet?

Yes and still no compression in any cylinder Why would this be?

If you have 0 compression in all cylenders, the crankshaft and cam shaft are turning and it is in time, the only thing left is to remove the cylender head to get a visual. I can understand a bent valve but not all of them.

it almost sounds like it is not timed right If you bent a valve you would have 0 compression in one maybe two but 0 in all you do not have it timed right most likely 30 degress off

I agree, but I feel he would have compression to some extent in one or more cylenders.
