The car starts fine cold, (i.e) after it sat all night in my garage it started fine this monring. If I run it and then turn it off and start it with in say 30 seconds it cranks right up. If it sits for a bit then try to start it she cranks over and over and over and is hard to start. When it finally starts, it runs a little ruff and then smoothes out.
P.S.
I have 2000 Silverado with the 4.8 V8 and it did the same thing. I had to replace the Pressure Regulator valve up by the intake.
1999 Chrysler LHS 3.5 V6
I was thinking that the injectors may be leaking down and was prepared to replace them as I also want to replace the spark plugs while I’m there. The car idols and runs great except for the starting after it sits for a bit.
Do you think it’s the fuel Regulator that is on the pump in the tank or the Injectors, both or something other then these?
Thanks in advance for any help or advice you might be able to offer.
