My Chrysler died on the road at a red light; ended up towing it home thinking the fuel pump or timing belt. Cranks but won't start or even fire. When I got home, decided to give it a quick checkout. Tested the fuel pressure (turn key on)...no pressure. Cranked and still no pressure.

Decided to see if there was a fuse blown in the power box, but no fuse, only a relay. I did notice a 20 amp fuse called 'Engine Controller' was blown. I replaced it. Turned the key on again, still no fuel pressure. I tried cranking to start it...it cranked over and I got 42# pressure but blew another fuse and didn't start.

Where do I start checking?

Problem solved...it was a sensor. A mechanic advised me how to check the sensor circuits without the access to a diagnostic tool.
