1994 Chrysler Le Baron 6 cyl 55300 miles

My car had not been in use for at least 1 and a half yrs. I tried to turn on the wipers, but they do not budge. They only tries to spit the washer fluid out when I push the button on the end of the switch. Could it be a simple fuse? Please help!??
