2001 Chysler Grand Voyager engine light came on then dies a

I was driving down the road at about 55 and all of a sudden as i was pushing the gas peddle i got nothing so i started to break and pull over and the oil light came on ...I'm not sure if the engine was still running or not cause it is always so quiet but now it wont start it turns over but wont starts ......before this happen i did notice it sputtering a little mostly at speeds of about 45 or 50 .....and i had just filled up about 30 minuets before this happen
