Why does my car jerk and sometines cut off if sitting at a red light or stop sign, if I put in park it doesn't jerk but it has a tremble to it

Hi:
Many things can cause a rough idle. Have you ever had the computer scanned for engine codes? If not, I would start there. Most nationally recognized auto parts stores will scan it for free. So before we start replacing things that are fine, start with the scan so I have a better idea which way to help you.
