concorde fuse to power outlet

i was using a portable air pump to inflate a tire. i plugged the power cord into the power outlet. after i was done the outlet didnt work. the questiuon is can i ruin the power outlet by using the portable air pump .

Probably didnt hurt the outlet, may have popped the fuse. Using a test light, check all the fuses
