Air Conditioning problem
2001 Chrysler Concorde 6 cyl Front Wheel Drive Automatic
----------------------------------------------------------------
Hello 2carpros!

A few days ago I asked you about my air conditioner. After sitting for about 3 weeks my air would only blow about 70 degrees. As you suggested I identified and repaired the leak and changed the expansion valve just for good measure. I then evacuated and vacuumed down the system overnight and refilled with oil and 134A to manufacturer's specs. The air still blows 70 degrees. Is there a filter I should have changed or is there something else I neglected to do to fix this? I am extremely frustrated as I have never had this problem before. HELP!!

Hi KFRITTZ,

You should have used the reply to question link in your previous post so that whoever attended to you would follow up when notification is received.

Did you check if the compressor is working when AC is turned on? Does it stop working after a short while?

Have you put in enough or over filled the refrigerants?

Get the low and high pressure tesed and post the readings for us to understand the situation better.
