The window is lifted by a spring loaded, motor driven scissor type actuator. The mechanics of the scissor lift look to be in good order. The window lift switch and wiring has been checked and is good. This brings me to a bad motor. My problem is that I can't seem to get the bad motor off because it is attached with three screws which heads are against the door surface. To get the motor off I have to somehow get the spring loaded scissor actuator off of the door. How do I do this without releasing the spring and or damaging the scissor lift actuator?
