replaced both and it still makes noise and has a lot of play in steering wheel, whats going on? HELP

did you check the front end and tie rods too
as for the noise is it power steering pump that making that noise
and if so did you bleed the air out
let me know

Yes ,thank you for the reply to find out it was a faulty new pump so the mechanic said, it seems to fix the problem, but now the steering colum wont lock? Also
another question i have a small oil leak didnt have it til oil change is there a ring or something inside that
could of fallen out when they change the oil and are any of these a problem? Thanks

check drain plug and oil filter
check oil pressure switch too
