Engine Performance problem
1996 Chrysler Concorde 6 cyl Front Wheel Drive Automatic

I have replaced my coil pack 3 times in the last 5 months. The crank sensor and wiring off of the crank sensor has also been replaced. Plus the basic, spark plugs and wires. I do alot of driving in my car but every few months my car will shut off while I am driving and it takes a while to get it to start up again. When I hook it up to my computer it says 'Ignition coil 3', so Ill take my coil pack off and have it tested. One side is bad everytime this happens, but no one can give me an answer as to why its happening. And what I can do to get it to stop happening. Can you help me?

Are you using oem parts? If not, try that next. Many aftermarket suppliers reverse-engineer oem parts to see how they're made, but might not be aware of some subtleties of the design. In particular, they might use components that are more sensitive to heat damage.
