1993 Chrysler Concorde 6 cyl Automatic 175000 miles

Hi:

My old car vibrates and shakes really hard at speeds of 40 and higher. We thought it was the tires, had them replaced but the car still vibrates and shakes pretty bad. Do you have any ideas? Thank you.

hello,

try putting the car in drive or reverse an listen for a knock when you put it in gear. If there is a knock check your mounts engine and transmission. If it does not knock check your suspension to see it theres any bent or damaged part. When you bought new tires were the balanced correctly?
