2000 Chrysler Cirrus engine will not idle cold

you guys have said it could be the EGR, PCV, or CTS. it does not give any codes[ no check engine light on] . my mechanic wants to clean the injectors and the idle control sensor or motor, I don`t know what he is talking about. the PCV is ok, I can make the car shudder and stall when I play with the EGR. the CTS should trigger a code . Do you guys think he is right. I`m bringing him the car MONDAY the 1st

Tell him not to mess with the injectors or the idle air control motor. Tell him to look into the EGR system and look for vacuum leak.
