was told by service technition at oil-change business that he noticed that the cv joint on right-passenger front-side appeared to be cracked.he stated I should be hearing a loud popping noise when I turn the wheels. the only thing I hear is a loud squeaking noise when I get on my brakes.my question is are these two problems one and the same? if so what is an estimate of repair and how soon should this work be done.
